Accesses

Access: By car via forest road (7 km) from Stara Fužina to parking place on Planina Blato (1088 m); the hut is within an hour’s walk from there.

From Lake Bohinj bus stop via Stara Fužina, past Kosijev dom on Planina Vogar to Planina pri Jezeru: 3 1/2 hours; half an hour less, if you start at Stara Fužina.

Views: There is not much of a view from Planina pri Jezeru, as it is surrounded by spruce forests; however, there is a fine view over the lake and up to Debeli Vrh, the king of the Fužina Pastures, which rises high above the tops of the trees. But should you decide to climb up to Pršivec (2 h), you will enjoy one of the most beautiful sights in the Julian Alps: Lake Bohinj with the Lower Bohinj Mountains to the south, and Mt. Triglav with all its surrounding beauty to the north.
